“I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?”

— Jesus

Jesus.

There is no one in all of history who has impacted the world more than Jesus of Nazareth.

His years of public ministry were marked by gathering disciples, preaching with authority, performing miracles of power, grace and healing, and through all these things he was revealing who God is and what he’s like.

After a time Jesus was arrested, tried and sentenced to death. He died a brutal death upon a Roman cross, was buried, and 3 days later rose again from the grave, defeating sin, Satan and death.

Through Jesus’ life, death and resurrection, he made a way for all people to be saved.

Jesus died as our substitute, paying the penalty we deserve for the way we have treated God. And God raised him from the dead as evidence that the price for sin was paid and that new life is available for those who trust in Jesus.

Those who put their faith in Jesus are reconciled to God and enjoy the gift of having a restored relationship with him, eternal life, peace, hope, and being freed from the power of sin, guilt and shame.

They receive spiritual family, knowledge of God, and the indwelling person and presence of the Holy Spirit.

The Bible tells us that Jesus is alive and is exercising his rule and reign over all creation. One day he will return, and on that day every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord. But until that day, those who follow Jesus are called to continue God’s mission of making Jesus known and inviting people to follow him.

Our deepest joy is found in worshipping Jesus.
